Studio recording and Mixing rates

In studio tracking and mixing at Purple Sound: $95.00/hour (inc GST).
 

Time is calculated in 15 minute intervals.

EFTPOS, Cash, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Band Rehersals

Studio room for band rehersals at Purple Sound: $25.00/hour (inc GST). Includes use of the P.A.
Additional $5/hour (inc GST) for use of the drum kit.

Minimum booking of 2 hours.

EFTPOS, Cash, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Mastering rates

In studio mastering at Purple Sound: $95.00/hour (inc GST).

Voiceovers

First hour: $110.00/hour (inc GST).

Subsequent hours: $95.00/hour (inc GST).

Electronic distribution of audio files 

This involves preparing and uploading large audio files to an online fileserver for download by a third party (usually requested as part of voiceover projects)

$11 (inc GST) per file

Conversion of a track to MP3

This involves loading the audio into our system and performing a file conversion and emailing it to you or putting it on a CD for you.

$15 (inc GST) per file (either emailed or put onto one CD).

Retrieval of sessions/tracks from our archives

This involves searching our archives for your session/tracks and emailing or burning onto a CD for you.

$25 (inc GST)

Session Musicians

Studio musicians are available and rates are available upon request.

All session players may not be available all the time, so we suggest advising of your needs at the projects inception so that scheduling can be pre-arranged. Purple Sound Studios does not mark up nor take a profit from session player earnings. The amount you are billed for session players is paid in full (100%) to the musician.

We welcome any musicians you may wish to bring in to help with your project.
